服飾博物館 展示　『オペラ座の夜』

ベルギーのアントワープは世界のダイヤモンド産業の中心地です。この国のダイヤモンド業界を総括するアントワープ・ワールド・ダイヤモンド・センター（AWDC/元HRD）は、1984年以来ジュエリーコンクールを開催し、ダイヤモンドの魅力を最大限に生かし、独創性に富み、洗練された技術で制作されたジュエリーを選出してきました。2007年は「オペラ座の夜」というテーマのもとに開催され、44カ国約1100点の応募がありました。本展はその中から選出、制作された38点を紹介いたします。また文化学園服飾博物館所蔵品の中から、観劇、晩餐会、舞踏会、レセプションなどに着用されたイヴニング・ドレスも合わせて展示します。

Antwerp is the largest diamond centre in the world. In 1984, the Antwerp World Diamond Centre (AWDC/formerly HRD) began the HRD Awards and over the years many creative and innovative diamond jewellery pieces, designed to bring out the brilliance and beauty of diamonds, have been selected. This year’s theme, “A Night at the Opera,” attracted nearly1,100 entries from 44 countries. The collection featuring 38 winning jewellery pieces will be on display, along with evening dresses from the Bunka Gakuen Costume Museum.
